Once upon a time, a guy and a girl met in a bookstore and didn’t hit it off immediately. They bickered and sniped at each other, until a friend of the two moderated a truce over coffee and slices of pie.

Guy and girl had similar interests: a great love for comics, Dostoevsky, Star Wars and Beauty and the Beast. A friendship blossomed. Then came dinners out, visits to bookstores and the biggest profession of love – the sharing of comic books.

Turns out they married, had geek offspring, and gravitated towards adult professions, until a chance review of a graphic novel brought their true love back to the fore.

Now they blog about comics, pop culture and all forms of the written word.
